We take special care in doing our Victorian tiled hallways. We lay the tiles loose and aim to catch every imperfection that many other tilers let slip by. We spend substantial time getting the sub-base perfect and strong and then will communicate the tile design with you throughout the tiling process. We believe we are the best at installing new Victorian tiles as to this day we have not seen an installation done by someone else that matches our quality!

What makes a special Victorian tiled hallway installation?

Pictures do not really tell the whole story and I have found that in person a truly flawlessly tiled Victorian hallway creates a undeniable sense of quality to anyone who appreciates quality!

One needs to get every line in the design as straight as possible, the grout lines need to be as small as possible so that they appear non existent. The screed and base needs to be prepared to such a level that the floor appears perfectly flat as any little dip, bump or wavy line messes with the design and the contrast in colors. The tiles also need to be layed perfectly smooth with no little ridges and raised bits.

When I approach my installations like this my clients really appreciate the effort and it does not take long for them to realize the type of quality they are getting!
