Stone marble cleaning & polishing service North London ( & Herts)

Natural stone is an amazing material and the more one works with it the more you appreciate it. Every stone is a little different and its a material that can be reworked and restored to more than its former glory.

We can take old tired , dirty stone with surface marks and scratches and completely resurface and polish it. After deep cleaning and steaming the stone we use a process involving diamond pads (fairly standard) that allows us to slice microscopic layers off the surface of the stone which reconditions the surface. This process also allows us to bring up a shine in the stone as the diamond pads get finer. After going through the stages and sealing we can finally buff the stone that really sets it off nicely.

Deep cleaning and steaming stone!

Steam cleaning may not be the best for stone as it may cause damage over time. However when faced with severe ingrained grime that has built up over years and years, I cant remove it without the use of steam. In this case a quick steam clean may be the lesser of two evils and it really can lighten and brighten things up allot.

Marble chip and crack repair service

When on the job I am able to repair most cracks and chips providing the stone is solid around the crack and nothing is loose or moving. Please note repairs will be good at a glance but I am not a specialist in chip and crack repair so they may not be invisible. However they really work well on my stone refurbishment jobs as I am able fill and repair instead of the client needing to replace tiles. You do find that with the varied look of natural stone one is able to get away with repairing chips and cracks quite easily!

Marble polishing and honing in bathroom

Below is a small black marble tiled bathroom floor that was heavily etched from the acidic content of urine and cleaning chemicals etc. In less than a day I was able to completely cut out most of the etching and polish it back up to a good finish.
