Marble floor polishing and cleaning London

Allot of what we do involves the cleaning , polishing and restoration of natural stones such as marble and limestone all over North London, West London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and South Buckinghamshire. Cement encaustic tiles restoration service North London

Cent Encaustic tiles are going pear shaped in wet rooms , shower areas, around toilets and generally wherever acidic or contaminated liquid can get in them. They are very sensitive and most times sealing has not been done well enough and we get allot of etching and bleach marks on the tiles. In order to restore cement encaustic tiles we need to deep clean them , sometimes a light polish. And then apply many coats of good sealer . The sealing part is very important and during the sealing process we are able to disguise many of the repairable marks present in the tiles.

Concrete Worktop polishing and restoration London

We polish and restore concrete work surfaces in North and West London. We can completely resurface these to bring them up to a natural sheen or shine or crystalise them to add a more durable finish. Slate deep cleaning and sealing

Slate floor tile cleaning and sealing service in North London, West London, Herts, Beds and South Bucks. Below you can see a very dirty slate tiled kitchen floor that we deep cleaned. The slate had many layers of built up grease which took a good few hours to strip off. It was actually nuts as the water bucket was getting dirty after 2-3 tiles and needed replacing. In any case the customer was very happy after the cleaning and the deep sealing really brought the colour out in the slate.

Limestone worktop polishing

We work allot with natural limestone tiles and kitchen worktops. Limestone is a beautiful material but its not the most durable and as such requires occasional refurbishment and regular maintenance. We can resurface , deep clean and polish your limestone surfaces to attractive natural levels of shine. We can also crystalise limestone to alter the surface creating a super high shine.

Quarry tile deep cleaning and sealing service North London & Herts

The UK has many quarry tiles and we can really make them nice again! With quarry tiles we need to deep clean to draw out all the muck sitting deep inside the tiles. Once perfectly clean we need to seal and wax them. Sealing quarry tiles will protect them from staining but also enhances their natural beauty. Without slight colour enhancement they can look a bit dull and flat. In the pic below the customer wanted a medium colour enhancement so I applied a penetrating tile sealer that only slightly enhanced the colour followed by a blend of natural waxes. The result is a smart presentable antique quarry tiled floor!

Terracotta tile restoration North, West London & Herts

Terracotta tiles differ from quarry tiles as they are much more (biscuity) sort of thing. They are fairly soft and one has to be quite careful with acidic detergents and generally cleaning terracotta requires allot of patience and thorough rinsing to get a good consistent finish. I can restore your old terracotta tiles all over North London, West London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and even South Buckinghamshire.

In the pic above I finished these terracotta tiles with the Lithofin system that involved boiled linseed oil. Although the linseed oil took ages to dry it had a very uplifting effect on these terracotta tiles.

Exterior tiles and patio cleaning service North, West London and Herts

Exterior tiles and stone are part of our bag and we can deep clean , restore and totally rejuvenate all your exterior patio tiles and stone. The pic below shows the ” before and after” effect on Yorkstone ( sandstone) that I cleaned and sealed in a North West London property. Mould and growth really takes root in this porous stone so the application of an appropriate mould killing chemical followed by light pressure clean did the trick for this one. Yorkstone is best deep sealed after the clean to prevent this growth from coming back too quickly. We can deep clean and resurface your exterior limestone tiles professionally as well!

Limestone and travertine floor tile restoration London and Hertfordshire

I can thoroughly rejuvenate your limestone and travertine floor tiles. These tiles always look much fresher and completely transform depending on how dirty they are. The floor tiles in this picture below where dull , grimy and had not been cleaned in a very long time. The customer was so happy with the result she said ” It looks like someone has turned the lights on in my house :)”

These materials are easy to bring back. We can thoroughly resurface them and they polish up to a nice natural sheen or shine with relative ease. They lighten up allot as the dirt is released and with thorough sealing and adhering to the DIY maintenance ( which I explain to you) will keep them looking great and they may never need full restoration again
